I stumbled upon Molly Harper this month during an extremely stressful time and book slump to boot. I started with this book and I’ve backtracked to previous installations in the “sort of” series but found it doesn’t matter if you read them out of order the shenanigans are a delight. Hilarious! One liner heaven! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The McCreadys own the local bait shop and funeral home in a very small southern town. Frankie is my favorite as the coroner with purple hair and crazy clothes she even talks to the dead while she works because “It’s polite”. After several break ins at the funeral home she is forced to work with the new Sheriff (just moved to town) to solve the situation. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oh yeah, she’s met him before, in the city, while out of town, for fun, but she didn’t expect to see him again if ya know what I mean. ⠀⠀
