Someone is terrorizing Copenhagen and leaving chestnut dolls in their wake. When a fingerprint on one of the dolls turns out to be that of a government official’s child, murdered a year before, the story takes an even more gruesome turn. 

⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is one that I would like to read again if for no other reason than connecting more of the hundreds of dots. There was a lot of description which made sense for the police procedural aspect but at times I just wanted to move on.  I know he wrote a  successful tv show so it’s possible the extra info comes from those habits. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This pick is not for a genre dabbler and liking a true crime podcast probably won’t prepare you but I’ll let the pic do the dirty work. I will say this. The twists were good and I didn’t figure it out until it was too late  mwahahaha! ⠀
