I loved the show (still need to finish it) and figured of course you need to read the book. It’s exactly the first season. Most adaptations are similar but this is literally the dialogue. If you watched season one of the show, you’ve read the book. If you haven’t heard of either I recommend them both! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Alice rediscovers/truly discovers who she is and what she wants after a divorce in her 40’s. Instead of accepting societal hangups about age she rolls with a slightly mistaken age identity.
