Ruh roh. First let me say that Rosemary’s Baby (the movie) was a thrill in my youth and I just read the book version this year (2019) so I’m going into this with history and a refresher course on one of the “scariest society thrillers” of the late 60’s.
I’m an artist so I’ll try to say it the way I’d want someone to say how they felt about my work if they felt the way I feel. It's been done. Very done. I'm not sure why I feel so strongly about how it's compared to Rosemary's Baby as if it's a tribute. I guess it's because I grew up sneaky watching the movie and just read the book so I'm very familiar with the story but I feel it borders on plagiarism and I'm really weirded out by it.
In fact as I update this (2020) I honestly can't tell them apart.
